Why this one
Most certificates certify attendance.
You sit through the hours, you tick the boxes, and a PDF arrives. Everybody in the field knows which qualifications work that way, which is why the PDF is worth nothing in the room where it matters.
This one is assessed on a supervised case, marked by two people, and about one in nine referrals is asked to do more work before it passes.
Marked by two people who have never met you.
Disagreements go to a third. That happens twice a year, and it is the reason the certificate means anything.

Twelve sessions with a real client, under supervision, written up to a published standard.

Two markers
Marked independently by two practitioners. Disagreements go to a third; that happens twice a year.

A viva
Forty minutes on your own case. It is not a formality and people are referred.
