You do not have a writing problem
You have a finishing problem. There are four drafts in a folder, each abandoned at about seventy per cent, and every one of them stopped at the same place: the point where it stops being fun and starts being work.
What fixes that is not another book about writing. It is a deadline somebody else set, an audience who will notice, and a reader who tells you precisely what is wrong.
What eight weeks looks like

Weeks 1 to 3 — volume
Three short pieces, one a week. Openings, structure, and cutting a thousand words to seven hundred. The goal is finishing, not quality, and the critique says so.
2
Weeks 4 to 6 — the long one
One piece, three drafts, rebuilt in public from the outline rather than tinkered with. This is the hard part and the one people talk about afterwards.

Weeks 7 and 8 — out the door
Editing, pitching and publishing anyway. You finish with something live and a list of places to send the next one.
What you actually get
Two live sessions a week
Ninety minutes. Taught, not a webinar with a chat box.
A written critique of everything
Line by line, on every piece you hand in. This is the expensive part and it is the point.
A room that stays open
Thirty people at the same stage, and access to the group after it ends.
Paste something a customer actually wrote to you. This is the one block on the page nobody should fill in for you.
Three hours of sessions and about four of writing, weekly. People who have less than that tend to finish two of the six pieces, which is still two more than the folder.
I have never been published. Is that a problem?
No. About half of each cohort has published nothing, and the pieces from that half are not noticeably worse — they are usually braver.
What if I miss a live session?
Recorded within the hour, kept for a year. Critique does not depend on attendance.
Is it for fiction or non-fiction?
Both, and the mix is deliberate — the two groups read each other's work and it is the single most useful thing in the eight weeks.
